FAMILY PICTURES

We went to Oak Creek the other day for our family Christmas pictures. While we were waiting for Di to get there, we went down by the creek and Natalie snapped this picture of Brian and Zane. I was so impressed and realized she just might have a future in photography, which is what she wants to be when she grows up.

Booby Traps?

This is what I woke up to after a nap with Zane today. Trenton, off of school for his "fall Holiday" (a whole day) had taken an orange marker and gone all over the house marking "booby traps". I wanted to get mad but after a little scolding and a threat to send him to his room for the rest of the day, he promised in this picture to never do it again...Yes, he got out the magic sponge and cleaned em' all up.

Yesterday was a busy day and in the hustle and bustle of it all we found our little Zane asleep on the stairs! I didn't expect that, since he had taken a nap earlier in the day. Wish I could sleep like that! Melissa had her homecoming game last night and they lost put played a good game. She cheered and I snapped a couple shots. She is a flyer and scares the begebbies outta me everytime I watch her.

Nauvoo

We are now back from our trip. It was really fun and so educational, especially listening to our Partiarch of the family...Grandpa Lonnie telling us lots of church history lessons. We enjoyed the town of Nauvoo and even went in the Temple and did baptisms for the dead. It was so ironic because all the girls got wet and all the guys hair stayed dry! One of my favorite parts was the "trail of tears" now called the" trail of hope" where the saints waited in line with their wagons to cross the Mississippi river. They have plaques written by people who experienced it. It was pretty emotional and touching. I also liked the jail and room in Carthidge where Joseph Smith and his brother were killed, it was very spiritual and made the whole experience even more special. It was nice to see Brian's family and catch up with some we don't see much anymore. Thanks to the McCleve's for the trip in Julty to New York and for Part 2 in Nauvoo..How blessed I am!

Off to Nauvoo

Today in Bellemont they had these prescribed burns and it was kinda freaky to see it so close to our home so I took out my handy camera and snapped this shot. We are going to Nauvoo tomorrow with the girls and meeting up with Brian's family. It is the 2nd part to our New York (palmyra) trip we got for Christmas from Brian's parents (thanks again to the McCleve's!!!) We are just going for 4 days but it should be a nice experience..so I'll post all about it when we get back!! SEE YA!

A BABY on the WAY

Well, I guess I can let the news out. We are having another baby...yep, my due date is May 30 but with a c-set. I will be having it a wee bit early. We are all really excited and hope all of you are for us too. Can't wait to find out if it's a BOY or a GIRL????

Shopping with Zane

Ok, this is the 4th time I've tried this...let's go for a 5th.

The other day Zane and I were at Dillards (he's my only shopping buddy now that the kids are all in school..but he's not very good at it yet..he's in training) So, I happened to have my camera in my purse, something you should never leave home with out. Zane wanted to try out every bed and that he did. It was pretty funny so I snapped a couple shots. Haven't we all wanted to try them out? I know I have but I would look pretty silly. Ahhh..something so wonderful about childhood!

Well, I am pretty new at this so I am just playing around to see if I can do it. I am not very good with computers so this is a stretch but I guess I can't rely on Audra to keep up my blog for me...although that would be nice since hers is so great. We had a birthday party for Brian on Moday and it was fun. He is now 36, when he was opening his presents he put on a mullet wig the girls got him to wear for Halloween and he looked hillarious, some people there even said he looked like his sister Carrie..I can see it now in their smile!
