Baby Shower

Well, it's getting pretty close to my actual date of delivery. May 29 will be the day I will get to hold our new baby girl in my arms. I am getting so anxious, nervous, and excited to have this whole thing over with. I am just feeling so uncomfortable and just ready for this to be finished and the real work start. A few of my great friends from church threw me this shower on Saturday afternoon and it was so fun. I really feel guilty having a shower for my 5th child, even though it's been 11 years since I've had a girl. I feel like there are other people having a baby for the 1st time and they really deserve a shower. It was great to hang out and chat and especially EAT with all the people that care about me. I am so grateful for all that I received and want to say Thanks to everyone that attended!! I'll keep you posted on the last few weeks of my pregnancy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARRIE!

Today is one birthday I NEVER forget because it is not only tax day but..Carrie's birthday! I'm not even sure how old she is today but I know she is way younger than me!! All of em' are! I hope she has an amazing fun day as I'm sure Mason and her 4 children will make sure she has a great time. She is a wonderful mom and a really nice sister n'law. She has a beautiful home and always has her kids looking so adorable. She has the body of a model and even wants to try out for American Gladiator..does that tell you anyting? She is amazing!! Happy Birthday Carrie!

Hmmnn..wonder WHO did this??

This is what my eyes beheld as I entered my craft/laundry room the other day. I called my little muchkin in to ask about it and he replied, " I wanted you to have a pink sewing machine" ( it's actually Natalie's)..as we got some baby wipes out and started cleaning he made sure to point out all the places I was missing. (at least it wasn't on the walls like Trenton did with his "boobie traps") Someday I know I'll miss these pranks, just not today..

Oh and Zane had his 3 yr. well check on Thurs. and his Dr. was so concerned about his height/weight (since the day he was born) she ordered a round of tests, a wrist x-ray, and 11 blood tests..taken from one LARGE syringe!! Poor little guy, he did so good for his age and all the tests came back fine...He's just little. I could've told them that! ( better safe than sorry, I guess!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Today is a special day in our FAMILY..today is mine and Zane's birthday. I am so glad to share my day with my cute little boy. He has the sweetest spirit. He is the only one who is home with me during the day when all the others are at school, so we have had some special times together. He has become a really great shopper.He loves to say "I don't care!" now and I hear lots of "No's" but he always says " I love you" He is such a special part of our family and it is so much fun to watch him grow and change. Happy Birthday Zane...my shining star!

JUST LIKE DAD

So this is what I walked in on the other day so I ran and grabbed my camera. I love to see the kids spending time with Dad since he is gone the first part of every week. I am kinda getting used to it and it doesn't seem as difficult as each week goes by. I was recently on my friends blog and read all the comments on trials and realized that my trials are so small compared to others and how grateful I am to have what I do. I shouldn't complain about my husband being gone out of town for work when others have children with dissabilities, depression, finances (us too), or struggle with their faith, etc.... I know I am blessed and will do better to try to help others and have gratitiude. We are all on this journey and sometimes it IS hard but it is ALWAYS worth it.
