This weekend we attended a 1957 high school reunion murder mystery. It was a lot of fun and finding the costumes was fun too. I found a shirt and vest at goodwill for Brian and got some 50's glasses downtown. His character was a mystery writer so he couln't go in the "greaser" get up. We enjoyed the evening with about 10 other couples. My feet were killing me by the end of the night but it was so fun so it was worth it. I have been working on getting signs to people that want them for Prop 102...something I feel so strongly about and somethng we have been counseled to do directly from above. Here is a picture of Brian and I in front of our sign in our yard, that fortunately hasn't been stolen yet. I replaced almost everyone's stolen signs in Boulder Point. If I had more signs..I'd find yards for them, so anyone with some..let me know.
Melissa has been very involved with this election and I am proud to see her not be afraid for what she stands for. Her friend Emily and her made shirts over the weekend and wore them to school on Mon. I expected to get a call from the school (most teachers are extremely liberal) but I never did. She did get pushed into the lockers by one black girl and she got lots of remarks and people yelling at her but on the other hand, she got lots of requests for t-shirts..so now she is starting her own little business!! Way to GO GIRL!!! I'm proud of you!
