AGGH!! that's all I can say. This girl has really been testing my patience lately. Her latest obsession is to find any and everything to "get into". She knows to just follow Natalie around and she is sure to find some "good stuff". Last night Natalie was doing something involving paint in my craft room and left the door open. Next thing I know...here comes Claire all red faced AGAIN! She seems to think everything goes on your face...This is probably because she watches me everyday get ready. I just hope this is a phase and that it will be OVER soon!

Mormon Prom 2010
Melissa is going with Joe Novelli to Mormon prom. She looked so sweet and pretty. Joe is a friend she has known since the 4th grade. He's a nice kid and always very respectful and friendly. He showed up at the door with a dozen pink roses and didn't really know the protocol. It's funny to see these teens try to figure out what they are supposed to do. When I was taking pictures I told him to sit a certain way and he thought I was crazy. I think the picture turned out good. I helped Melissa get her hair and make up done, of course she wanted her eyes darker than I did but in the end I think she looked beautiful. We found this dress for a GREAT price and she had the shoes..since she wears a kids size 1 ordering online was not an option considering time and cost ... they are $70+..so we decided I'd make her a flower to go in her hair to tie in the shoes. It might be a little big but that's what she wanted. As I was doing her hair and we chatted about things it made me realize how fast she is growing up and how soon she'll be leaving the nest and going on her own. I really hope I will be able to handle it, knowing that our bond as mother and daughter is strong enough to withstand all. Melissa, I hope you have a fantastic night..be home by 12!

Debbie
Debbie....That is my mother n laws name. She is a wonderful person in so many ways. So dedicated to her family and to the church..actually more than any other person I know. She is super healthy, works out everyday, eats right and does all she can do to to stay around as long as she can..and what does she do yesterday but go and have a HEART ATTACK! They wanted to do surgery but discovered that her little veins are too damaged and she is NOT a candidate. So..they are giving her some kind of medication that is hopefully helping her. We are all doing a family Fast and praying desperately that our little "mama-seeta" ( what she calls herself) will be healthy again and back to herself. We love you Debbie and are so thankful and blessed to have you in our family. Please keep her in your prayers!

Patience P L E A S E!
I was down cooking dinner and Claire comes sauntering into the kitchen like this. She somehow found Natalie's make up that Natalie swears was up high. Sephora brand too.. This was funny at first but after trying many things to get it off, the hot pink stain seems permanent. We have church at 9 a.m. This should be interesting...
I am also posting a couple pictures of Zane's party.

Easter and my 40th

I really love this time of year. The snow is melting, the days are warmer and longer, and my tulips are coming up ! I love Spring. This year Easter was on Conference so we got to stay home in our jammies and enjoy our Easter at home watching general conference on T.V. There were some really inspiring talks but the main subject and special focus of the day was the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. The kids learned and understood more this year about the reason behind Easter and I am thankful that they don't just think it's about bunnies and candy. We did get a visit and the kids enjoyed our annual "mostly indoors" egg hunt. Trenton being the $10 grand prize finder with Natalie in 2nd with a whopping $5! Claire was a little in awe as she can't remember last years Easter and so she was ALL about the candy, actually inhaling it by the fist full ..foil and all. I got to enjoy a little get away to Sedona for my 40th birthday with my friend Tiana (the planner) and my good friend Natalie. We enjoyed shopping in Telaquepaque and a fabulous room at the Los Abrigados resort. We had a nice dinner at our favorite Wildflower Bakery and then a fun movie. The next morning we had scheduled spa treatments ( thanks again Tiana!) It was so nice to get a massage but they didn't have me booked for my pedicure so we later complained to the hotel Mgr. and got gift certificates to come back..guess I'll have to plan a weekend soon. Now I have a better attitude towards the Fabulous 40's! On my actual birthday, another good friend Dee Dee planned a lunch at Oreganos ( never go there with a large group..way too long of a wait) It was nice to be with friends that weren't able to go to Sedona. Then the rest of the day was Brian and I together. we shopped and saw a movie (my pick..The Bounty Hunter, not very good by the way) and we had a fabulous dinner at a new place that we have never been to in downtown Flagstaff called PASTO. It was delish! Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes. It is fabulous to be 40 with all of you in my life!
