We spent part of Spring Break down in the valley of the sun..Gilbert. We enjoyed visiting Brian's family and spending time with cousins. We went roller skating, something I haven't done in a couple decades and hung out at cousins and caught up on eachothers lives. This weekend we had Melissa's Sadie Hawkins Dance and the Lundell's up to visit so we celebrated Zane's Birthday. Zane and I share the same birthday so this year I guess I'll get to have my day! We had a good time at Pizza Hut before heading off to the aquaplex..Zane's new favorite place. 

Zane is now 4 years old even though he looks like he's about 2 1/2. He is a cute little man with a funny personality. He can be a little moody and whiny sometimes but I am hoping this is the year he will grow out of that. He's excited to go to preschool this year and be a BIG boy. He loves his family and is so good with his sister Claire, even climbing in her crib to play with her if she is crying. He idolizes his big brother and wants to be just like him. We are so blessed to have Zane be a part of our family and hope his 4th year of life is filled with wonderful moments. We love you Zane!

Melissa had her cheer competition the weekend before last and they did very well..placing 4th in state in their division as Large group Varsity Cheer. They were only 15 points away from 3rd place which is amazing considering the schools that win every year (Shadow Mountain) spend big bucks on coaches and choreographers. We were very proud of them and especially Melissa. Way tro go GIRL! She has decided she is going to stay in cheer as a Junior too. Which is gettting more and more difficult with its demanding schedule and all her classes that she will be wanting to do well in.

On another note, Brian and I just got back from a great weekend together in Las Vegas at The Wynn.( an amazing hotel) We got upgraded to a tower suite which was top notch.  We had the best 3 days and really got to spend quality time together and reflect back on the 8 years we have been married. We got to see both shows at the hotel and  enjoyed great food. Brian even got lucky at the slots! I am a very fortunate woman to have been blessed with such a great husband who has brought alot of happiness into our lives. I am truly thankful for the life that I am living. 

9 months

Today Claire had her 9 month check up and she weighs a whopping 13 lbs 10 oz. I have really small babies and she is no exception. She is in the <3%..she did grow a whole inch in 3 months and she got 2 shots ( we're taking it slow) and she had her heel pricked to check her iron levels. She got a new book at her checkup and was immediately interested. She has been so much fun and such a great blessing. Melissa started a project this weekend and decided she was done with the hawaiian theme in her room and took some paint we already had and began an "argyle" wall..her new favorite pattern. I was impressed with her knowledge of math as she had to do alot of figuring out to get the measurements right. I'll take a picture when it's all done. I'm adding a picture of the boys since I haven't blogged one of them lately. They are such great buddies and I'm so glad they have eachother.
