Little man Tate

We are thinking of Tate Lundell today as we have heard that he is in the hospital with phneumonia and RSV. I just spoke to Carrie and heard him wheezing as he was sleeping. I think back to both of my boys going through similar things and how stressful it is. We hope he gets well soon and gets to go home by Thursday..Our prayers are with you Tate and your family. P.S. Grandma Debbie ( Carries Mom) is flying out today to be with him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!

Yesterday was my oldest child Melissa's birthday. I can't believe she is already 15 years old...Where did the time go? She has grown and changed so much in th last couple years. We took her to Las Vegas for her birthday to see Miley Cyrus in concert and she got to bring her best friend Jessica. We weren't really planning to do this but Brian gave in and decided to surprise her unfortunately, her little sister saw something on my computer screen..(LITTLE MISS NOSEY!) and ratted it out. We had a good time and only stayed 1 night. I hope she never forgets it...oh, now I gotta start planning her 16th?

THE GREAT CHICAGO CAPER

After winning a murder mystery game at Christmas 5 years ago, we finally decided to host a murder mystery on Sat. We picked 3 couples that we know would be reliable and we had a great dinner and everyone came in costume. It was really fun but a little hard to figure out 'WHODUNNIT" Nobody guessed right. Brian was supposed to be dressed like an oldtime golfer and so we went to goodwill and found plaid pants that I turned into knickers and a plaid tie I hot glued into a bowtie, and old mans sweater vest and a hat we even cut off into a visor. It was only $13 and he looked great. ( that's including the golf club)

Happy Birthday "Jetters"!

Today is Jett's 5th birthday. He is so cute. He is one of my boys favorite cousins to play with. He has the cutest smile and is always fun. Whenever Trenton and Jett get to see eachother, they run and embrace. It is so cute to see them get together..we just don't get to enough. Happy Birtday Jett..YOU ROCK!!!

Happy Birthday Emmie!

Today is sweet little Emmie Rae Check's birthday. She is 6 years old and so so sweet. She has had a hard time in life with her disability but is an inspiration to all of us. She smiles alot and loves TV. While we were down for Christmas in Gilbert, Brian's mom Debbie had made a video of the year with lots of pictures and music of all the things that happened that year and Emmie loved watching it over and over. She is a joy...a wonderful part of a loving family. Happy Birthday sweet angel.

Trenton's B-day and Another SNOW day.

Today is Trenton's birthday and we have lots of snow...He is pretty glad he gets to stay home and play with all his new presents he got on Sat. at Peter Pipers Pizza, they remodeled the one here in Flagstaff so it wasn't that bad and worth every penny to not have a bunch of kids here at my house. We got so much snow here and so this morning it was slow going as we went to my Ultra sound appointment. It took us 4o min to get into town and people were stuck all over the place, although we couldn't stop to help them cause we had to go find out if we're having a boy or girl and when I was getting it done I was soooo anxious to find out and she was measuring everything..the head, the femur, pointing out the blader, heart and stomach but when she got between those legs and said oh those are the lips..I was like WHat??? and she said, "it looks like a girl" I started to cry and couldn't stop my belly from shaking all over the place. So , Brian was right and I was wrong once again! But we are so excited and now I will stop thinking of boy names and start thinking of girls...any suggestions?
