So I finally found a doctor that could figure out what was wrong with me. I went back to my family practice Dr. on Monday, she took one look at me and said I'm sending you to a dermatologist and she made a phone call, I went straight over there and after looking at me for 2 seconds she said this is MERSA. She took a culture and after 3 days it came back postitive but she started me on a special antibiotic on Mon. and it was so much better in just those 3 days. MERSA ia a very dangerous staff infection mostly caught in hospitals from a person that didn't wash their hands before touching you or dirty instruments. It can also be caught in the public but since I had a c-section on Thurs. and my infection was really bad by Sunday, I caught it in the hospital. I am now in talks with them to see what they are going to cover, as far as all my medical costs, etc. Now, whenever I go into a hospital I will have to start antibiotics and be "red tagged", I guess as high risk for infection. I can't tell you how awful this experience has been and poor Claire having had so many drugs in her first 2 weeks of life. She had a photo shoot yesterday by my friend Di and they turned out so cute. Natalie, of course was there to get some photography tips and watch and she got some good one's on her camera so this is some of them. that she took.

Oh Heidi - I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a rough start & that grosses me out that some one didn't wash their hands! Claire is an absolute little doll, she looks like Brian so far. I can't wait to see & hold her.
great pictures! You two both look wonderful. I can tell that Claire is Zane's little sister, for sure. I hope you are feeling much better, it sounds like you are.

Oh Heidi! I'm so sorry about your infection, but I am so glad they figured out the problem.
Little Claire is so beautiful. What a great shoot. Di is very talented, and of course, it helps to have pretty subjects to shoot :)
oh my gosh, that's horrible. i am so sorry that has happened to you. but i am so glad that dr knew right away what it was. that's pretty gross that someone didn't wash their hands!!! i hope you are doing much better and feel better.

Heidi it looks like the photo shoot was amazing you both look so beautiful!!! Natalie did a great job grabbing pics durring the shoot. I am so glad you are feeling better that is really scary to come home with mersa :-( Hopefully now you can start to enjoy your new little princess! Let me know if you need any help of if I can just take the boys.

She is Precious! What a little doll. I forgot how little they are. Little K is growing so much and I miss that little newborn baby. She is a beautiful baby!
