Murder Mystery

This weekend we attended a 1957 high school reunion murder mystery. It was a lot of fun and finding the costumes was fun too. I found a shirt and vest at goodwill for Brian and got some 50's glasses downtown. His character was a mystery writer so he couln't go in the "greaser" get up. We enjoyed the evening with about 10 other couples. My feet were killing me by the end of the night but it was so fun so it was worth it. I have been working on getting signs to people that want them for Prop 102...something I feel so strongly about and somethng we have been counseled to do directly from above. Here is a picture of Brian and I in front of our sign in our yard, that fortunately hasn't been stolen yet. I replaced almost everyone's stolen signs in Boulder Point. If I had more signs..I'd find yards for them, so anyone with some..let me know.
Melissa has been very involved with this election and I am proud to see her not be afraid for what she stands for. Her friend Emily and her made shirts over the weekend and wore them to school on Mon. I expected to get a call from the school (most teachers are extremely liberal) but I never did. She did get pushed into the lockers by one black girl and she got lots of remarks and people yelling at her but on the other hand, she got lots of requests for t-shirts..so now she is starting her own little business!! Way to GO GIRL!!! I'm proud of you!

ok when i first saw the top picture I thought you had taken a picture of some neighbors that you put a sign up for. Haha:) You guys looked great ..sounds like you had a fun time.
Good for you for being so involved in Prop 102..we do NOT have any more signs but I'll ask around. I can probably scrape some up. We DO have a few extra bumper stickers though. I don't think enough people understand the severity of this proposition not being passed!
I already commented on Melissa's blog about her t shirts. Way to stand up for what she believes. That's too bad some girl pushed her..LAME!

Hi Melissa this is Grandma. I literally got the goose bumps when I read what you and your friend did..I have tears in my eyes right now as i think about all those adults who WILL NOT stand for the Truth and here you are just 15 showing the World what you believe in always remember this"IF YOU DON'T STAND FOR SOMETHING YOU STAND FOR NOTHING."... You, my dear put all those who stand for nothing to shame...We love you over here in Cali and all over this great Nation..If we win it is because of you and millions like you (including your mother who makes me so proud...) love you Grandma Debbie
