Today was a really special Sunday because I bore my testimony at church after Brian was nudging me saying I should get up there. Then afterwards my sweet Trenton boy went up and bore his testimony for the first time. I was so proud. It really made me feel like my efforts in teaching him has been so worth it. I hope my other children can someday feel the desire in their hearts to share their feelings too. Yesterday was an emotional day too as I traveled down to Phoenix to see my beautiful daughter Melissa compete for "nationals" in Mesa. She has been having alot of problems with her fractured wrist and has had alot of stress lately with school work and the demands of cheer/practice. She has manged to keep straight A's and still be on student council and practice SOOOO much for this competition. They did not make nationals but had fun and did a good job. Some other things I want to post about in my blog (journal) is about Zane sticking a bead up his nose a few weeks ago.(why do kids want to stick things in their nose?) He was calm and went in to tell Brian he had something stuck in his nose. Brian quickly called for me and I was beginning to panic thinking we were about to take another trip to the ER. Luckily, I have a friend in the neighborhood who is an ICU nurse..even though I am sure she deals with WAY more intense things than a "BEAD IN THE NOSE" she was able to extract the thing, boogers and all and he was fine. Claire had her 6 mo. checkup the other day (yes, my baby is already 6 months!!!) She was just so happy and enjoying her visit and then they gave her a book and she knew immediately what to do with it!! She, and all my children are such a joy in my life, a sweet, wonderful gift from a loving Father in Heaven. I am so thankful that He has sent them to me and entrusted me with their sweet spirits.
